Photographs may be either captured in film or digital media. But all submissions are to be made online. Photographers who use film may scan their photographs and submit them online.
A picture can have a maximum size of 600 pixels on the longest side. Colours to be in SRGB/ Adobe RGB.
You must provide all details to get published. Bestofphotos will use your personal details for the purposes of administering, and will not publish them or provide them to anyone without your permission.
Each entry must have a title and location and may include optional description and technical details.
Photographs can be edited in a digital image editing program to the extent that Only minor image adjustment is permitted, such as cropping, sharpening, contrast, and levels. Manipulated Images must be clearly expressed under the relevant category.
The copyright of the image lies with the photographer, unless described in the form.
Your entry must be entirely your own original work, not defame anybody nor breach any copyright.
There should not be any content which is socially objectionable.
If your photograph features any recognisable person or people, written permission should be obtained for the image to be entered and to be published online and in all media as required. Written permission from each recognisable person (or their parents/guardians if under 18) should be submitted for each entry.
The judges' hold the rights to publish any photograph.
